laUcmi and INTECAP: A Strategic Alliance Driving Growth
The partnership with INTECAP has been key to ensuring that academy content addresses real operational needs. laUcmi, recognized as the first Latin American corporate university certified by The Learning & Performance Institute (LPI) in London, contributes innovative methodologies and flexible learning models. INTECAP complements this effort with strong technical expertise and hands-on training capabilities.
This collaboration made it possible to tailor content to specific operational contexts, integrate simulation-based sessions, and deliver applied, practice-oriented instruction. Key outcomes include improvements in preventive and corrective maintenance, responsible driving, equipment optimization, and stronger safety practices in warehouses and production lines. In addition, participants strengthened soft skills such as discipline, teamwork, and individual accountability.
This approach demonstrates how laUcmi continues to serve as a strategic pillar for CMI, driving continuous learning and promoting growth opportunities for employees across the region.
A Reflection of the REIR Culture and Corporate Commitment
The program reflects the impact of the REIR values Responsibility, Excellence, Integrity, and Respect within CMI’s organizational culture. Each graduate demonstrated effort and discipline to complete the training, translating into improved operational performance and the reinforcement of a culture that prioritizes safety, quality, and professional growth.
The initiatives led by CMI Foods are also aligned with the vision of Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga, President Chairman of the group, and with the institutional commitment to creating opportunities that transform lives. Together, these efforts help strengthen the competitiveness of the food industry and promote human development within the corporation.
