New Pollo Campero Opening Strengthens Commitment to El Salvador

Pollo Campero has opened its 70th restaurant in El Salvador, located in Plaza San Marino, just steps from the Surf City traffic circle, strengthening its presence in one of the country’s most vibrant tourist areas. The new location represents a $2 million investment, creates more than 50 jobs, and serves as a new gathering spot for families and friends.

With this restaurant, the brand reaffirms its promise to bring its distinctive flavor and warmth to every corner of the country. The opening reflects the leadership of Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga, Chairman of CMI Foods, who continues to drive the sustainable growth of the brand, part of CMI, Corporación Multi Inversiones.

A Space Designed for Experience

The new restaurant was designed to capture the coastal spirit of the area. Bright colors, open spaces, and local touches, such as a custom surfboard artwork by Salvadoran artist Rodolfo Díaz create a vibrant and family-friendly environment.

The restaurant can seat up to 130 guests and includes a play area for children. The kids’ menu also features a collectible toy, turning every visit into a fun, complete family experience.

Seasonal menu highlights include:

  • Cojutepeque-style chorizo, featured in both the Campero Pizza and Omelette.
  • Empanaditas de frijol, a traditional Salvadoran dessert with a local twist.

Commitment to Community and Development

Beyond its culinary offerings, the Surf City opening underscores Pollo Campero’s commitment to local economic development. By generating jobs and contributing to the growth of La Libertad’s coastal region, the brand helps strengthen tourism and family activity in this popular destination.

Customers can enjoy the full range of Campero service channels, including dine-in, drive-thru, takeout, delivery via app and website, as well as orders through WhatsApp and call center. These options allow customers to earn reward points and access exclusive promotions, offering convenience and connection at every touchpoint.

Leadership and Strategic Vision

Pollo Campero’s expansion in El Salvador reflects the strategic vision of Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga, who, as Chairman of CMI Foods, has championed a sustainable business model built on innovation, quality, and family warmth.

The opening of Pollo Campero’s 70th restaurant in El Salvador reinforces the brand’s national presence and highlights CMI Foods’ commitment to economic and social development in the region.
