CMI Drives Corporate Leadership at Reputation Day Guatemala

CMI, Corporación Multi Inversiones, was one of the organizers of the International Conference Reputation Day Guatemala, an event that brought together business leaders and international experts in corporate reputation, sustainability, and communications.

Held for the first time in the country, the event was organized in collaboration with Corporate Excellence – Centre for Reputation Leadership and PIZZOLANTE, becoming a key platform in Central America and the Caribbean for advancing intangible asset management and strengthening corporate leadership.

Reputation Day featured a dynamic agenda with presentations, panel discussions, and professional exchange sessions. Conversations focused on how companies can address the challenges of a global environment shaped by artificial intelligence, geopolitical uncertainty, and the need to rebuild trust through consistency and purpose.

Reputation, Sustainability, and Leadership: Core Themes of the Business Dialogue

Throughout the day, speakers addressed essential topics for the future of organizations, highlighting the importance of integrating reputation and sustainability into corporate strategy. The event offered tools and case studies demonstrating how responsible management of intangible assets can become a driver of competitiveness and trust.

One of the event’s highlights was the presentation of the tenth edition of the report Approaching the Future 2025 by Corporate Excellence, which identifies the top trends in reputation and investment in intangible assets.

Ángel Alloza, CEO of Corporate Excellence, noted that hosting this conference in Guatemala represents “a key step in the mission to professionalize the management of intangible assets in Ibero-America, promoting partnerships and strengthening reputational leadership.”

Meanwhile, José González-Campo, Senior Director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at CMI, emphasized the corporation’s commitment to living its purpose: “to generate life-changing opportunities with family warmth.” He added that a company’s reputation is a direct result of institutional consistency and ethical commitment to its stakeholders.

A Space to Build Trust and Share Knowledge

Reputation Day Guatemala also featured Ítalo Pizzolante, Founding Partner of PIZZOLANTE, who reaffirmed that “reputation is not an end in itself, but the result of doing things well, with purpose and consistency.” Through its Traveling Chair initiative, the firm promotes collective learning spaces that strengthen sustainable business leadership.

During the event, participants discussed topics such as:

  • Responsible management of reputational risks
  • Purpose-driven and transparent communication
  • Innovation in sustainability and business ethics
  • Strategies to build trust with stakeholders

With the active participation of leaders such as Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga, President Chairman of CMI Foods and Chairman of the Board at Del Real Foods, along with other industry references, Guatemala positioned itself as a meeting point to analyze the challenges and opportunities companies face in the new reputation-driven economy.

By promoting these spaces for dialogue, CMI contributes to strengthening a shared vision of sustainable development and institutional trust that transcends borders, supporting the future of corporate leadership in the region.
